A super example of radial, golden eriointe crystals lining amgdales in basalt matrix.
The crystals form spherical aggregates which are so densly packed with crystals that their surface appears smooth.
They are partially overgrown by an unidentified black mineral, possibly a member of the chlorite or saponite mineral groups.
Size – 32 x 31 x 18mm
Weight – 18g
The specimen will come fully labelled in a specimen display box.
Please note that magnification of 20x or greater is required to view these crystals effectively.
